The Various MITRA Tools for Translation and Philological Research in Buddhist Studies

I led a full-day online workshop for the Kathmandu University Centre for Buddhist Studies at Rangjung Yeshe Institute, introducing the Dharmamitra ecosystem and DharmaNexus. The workshop walked participants through the currently available MITRA tools: Mitra Translate and the grammatical analyzer, MITRA Search and Deep Research, the Mitra browser extensions, DharmaNexus, and the Mitra Sanskrit–Tibetan dictionary, and closed with a discussion of community perception and the roadmap ahead. The workshop was originally planned in person in Kathmandu and was ultimately held online.
